The Party

Kerala Congress is a political party in Kerala, India founded in 1964. By the leadership of Mathachan Kuruvinakunnel, K. M. George, R. Balakrishna Pillai And Mannathu Padmanabha Pillai. From 1979 Kerala Congress publicly known As Kerala Congress (Joseph) Or Kerala Congress (J) And P.J Joseph was the chairman until 2010, and again since 2021.

Kerala Congress (Joseph), which is part of the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) merged into bracket less Kerala Congress which Makes P. J. Joseph as Kerala Congress Party Chairman Again. Now P.J Joseph is the chairman of the Kerala Congress party.

P.J. Joseph

P. J. Joseph (born 10 June 1941) is an Indian politician, former minister and current MLA, who represents the Thodupuzha assembly constituency. He entered Kerala politics through Kerala Congress in 1968.

P. J. Joseph was born on 10 June 1941 to Palathinal Joseph and Annamma at Purapuzha in Idukki district. His leadership has been a guiding light for the party, championing the causes of farmers, laborers, and the common citizens of Kerala for over five decades.
